While you are here why not visit my gallery of digital photography that reflects my view of the world through the lens of a digital camera, or my "extra pair of eyes".

All images in the gallery were taken using Canon digital cameras over the last 10 years.

Intreegued and Intrigued

Wednesday November 30 – Saturday December 24.

Official Opening Saturday December 3, 2.00 – 4.00 pm.
Northern Rivers Community Gallery, Cherry Street, Ballina.

“Intreegued and Intrigued” is an exercise involving tree (3) Ballina Art & Framing colleagues working under the same roof as picture framers. The group discussed their common interests in subject matter and used their preferred mediums to interpret the theme of trees.

Maria Mason’s prints of trees are intreeguing and will leave you inspired with her attention to detail. Scott Watson will leave you intrigued with his abstract collection of oil paintings on Masonite. Mark Davis will exhibit a collection of photographic images on different media using various techniques.

To add another dimension to the exhibition, Damian Bourke is a local bonsai aficionado, will exhibit his wonderful collection of trees.

Infrascapes Exhibition

The infrared light spectrum is not visible to the human eye. Infrascapes is a selection of colour and monochrome infrared digital images recorded on a specially modified digital camera. Images from the Ballina, Lismore and Evans Head area have been printed on Kodak Endura Metallic Paper and framed for the exhibition. Two images have also been printed on canvas and stretched including a panorama of Lennox Head and a triptych of Shelley Beach.

The exhibition is open at Ballina Art & Framing as per the details below:
